Organic Recycling Technologies CEO Issues Letter to Shareholders Summarizing Achievements In 2007 And Outlining The 2008 Strategic Business Plan

January 17, 2008 – ORANGEVILLE, Ontario, – Organic Recycling Technologies Inc. (“The Company”) (Pink Sheets: ORCY.PK) today issued a letter to shareholders from the Company’s President and CEO, Mr. Ed Kroeker, summarizing key developments and achievements during 2007, and outlining the company’s strategic business plan for 2008 and beyond.

Kroeker stated, “During the past year we successfully completed building the foundations for a very large international environmental technology firm that should soon have multiple operations around the world. The milestones which were reached in the year 2007 include the following:

1. Our very experienced and focused management team has finalized a powerful and detailed business strategy, the core of which involves the development and operation of Environmental Technology Centers that use cutting-edge and proven technologies to address the four elements of the environment (earth, air, fire, and water) in each town, city, region and country; the plan further includes a “no-risk” strategy for host communities or businesses and an appropriate rate of return for our shareholders and financial partners.

2. We have assembled some very strong strategic partnerships; this includes technology partners to provide the engineering, construction, and operational requirements for every project along with financial partners to debt and equity finance our Environmental Technology Centers around the world. HDR Engineering Inc., through the leadership of Michael Brown, continues to provide a very strong and loyal team of technology specialists who are constantly bringing new project opportunities to us.

3. The China waste management projects which were first announced by the company in 2005 continued to move forward; for example, the Chongqing agreement was expanded in 2007 to include new agreements for the development of 42 plants for solid waste management in the Chongqing, China region.

4. Significant progress has been made towards the future development of Environmental Technology Centers in western and eastern Canada, southern and north-eastern United States, and several locations in the Middle East.

5. We have expanded greatly our media exposure in order to educate the general public through television interviews and through hosting a weekly radio show which can be accessed live via the internet.

The steps that we have taken during the past year have definitely led to our establishing a strong foundation for future growth. The evidence shows in the fact that we have more projects coming to us today than we could have ever imagined a year ago.

Some of the milestones which we expect to achieve during 2008 include the following:

1. We expect to complete the feasibility and technical reports on the Chongqing, China Environmental Technology Centers and complete the agreements for some additional projects in China including at least one wind energy project opportunity.

2. Construction of several Environmental Technology Centers is expected to get underway including at least one in Canada and one or more in the Middle East.

3. From the long list of business opportunities which we currently have and which are further anticipated to come in over the next several months, we expect to have a narrowed down list of 12 of the best projects which will be under engineering evaluation by HDR before year end.

4. An acquisition strategy is now in place and with the assistance of HDR Engineering, we are evaluating several opportunities which will expand our catalogue of technologies and broaden our base of operations in certain strategic markets around the world.

Over the coming year, we also intend to expand our efforts in educating the investment community on the attractive investment opportunity that Organic Recycling Technologies represents. A new website is being developed which reflects this goal. Finally, we are confident that during the coming weeks our market valuation will grow with the company and ultimately reflect the enormous growth potential that this company represents.”
