YEAR END AUDIT UPDATE

February 13, 2006 - Burnaby, BC - Organic Recycling Technologies Inc. ("The Company") (OTC BB: ORCY) announced today that the audit of the Company’s accounts for the year ended September 30, 2005 will take longer than originally anticipated. The effect of this delay is that the Company will not be able to file its Annual Report with the Securities and Exchange Commission within the 30 day grace period set out in OTCBB Rule 6530. As a result of missing this deadline, the Company expects that trading of its common stock will be temporarily moved to the "Pink Sheets."

The Board of Directors and staff of the Company are working closely with its auditors to complete the audit as soon as possible.

While the Company regrets this temporary deficiency, the Directors feel that it is important to complete a very thorough audit to ensure that all matters relating to the Company’s financial position are completely and accurately presented prior to finalizing the several significant business initiatives currently underway.

The Directors feel that the Company’s future is exceptionally bright and are confident that, at this critical juncture, this delay will be short and worthwhile.
