Global 8 Environmental Technologies, Inc. Issues Letter to Shareholders
March 8, 2005 - Burnaby, BC - EAPI Entertainment, Inc. (OTC BB: EPEI) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary Organic Recycling Technologies, Ltd. ("Organic Recycling") has signed an agreement to purchase a 60 acre permitted site in Saratoga, New York. The site is fully permitted for all types of waste including pulp and paper sludge, municipal solid waste, bio-solid waste, organic waste and wood waste. The purchase price for the site is US$1,500,000 and the vendor has accepted a convertible debenture in full consideration of the purchase price. Organic Recycling and the vendor are in the process of obtaining an arms length appraisal to confirm the agreed purchase price of US$1,500,000.
The site is the first showcase of our new joint venture between Bedminster International ("Bedminster"), a bio-energy technology company controlled by Mr. William McCabe of Ireland, Tully Environmental ("Tully"), a division of Tully Construction, one of New York’s largest privately owned construction companies and Organic Recycling. The synergy between Bedminster, Tully and Organic Recycling creates untold new opportunities for all organizations as they move forward in the waste management industry.
As announced in a press release in Ireland, Bedminster has just signed a €200 million (US$260 million) agreement to convert post consumer organic material into a high quality bio-fuel. This US$260 million contract and joint venture is on Organic Recycling’s new 60 acre permitted site in Saratoga, New York.
The 25-year agreement with Tully and Organic Recycling will treat 400 tons of organic material per day from New York City at the site in Saratoga, using the Bedminster Bio-Energy Technology. Tully, which handles up to 2000 tons per day of New York City post consumer material for disposal, will supply the feedstock to produce the bio-fuel.
Organic Recycling’s joint venture with Bedminster and Tully will feature the first showcase facility featuring the next generation in the proven technology. Bedminster and William McCabe bring the financial strength and the technology while Tully brings the raw material and waste management experience and Organic Recycling and its President Ralph Petruzzo, brings the sites, the public market, operations, marketing, start-up, waste management and raw material experience, adding all up to a tremendous marketing and financing opportunity.
Ralph Petruzzo, the President of Organic Recycling, is in the process of finalizing the purchase of our second site located within 30 miles of Manhattan, New York.
William McCabe, owner of Bedminster International, said; "The Bedminster plant will initially process 200 tons of organic material per day from New York City- increasing to 400 tons at full capacity." Mr. McCabe continued "Bedminster is already considering a second site within 30 miles of Manhattan. This site will have an initial capacity of 1,000 tons per day."
Ken Tully, CEO of Tully Environmental, said; "This agreement with Bedminster International provides us with a highly efficient and environmentally positive solution to disposing of a problematical material. We now have a safe and sustainable method of diverting this material away from landfill and avoiding the escalating costs of dealing with the gases and leachate resulting from its decomposition."
Mr. Pearse O’Kane, CEO of Bedminster said; "The patented Bedminster Bio-Energy Technology uses a biological process to convert the organic material by way of a digesting system in less than three days to a clean bio-fuel, which has the same energy value as peat and brown coal. The bio-fuel is then used to replace fossil fuel in the production of energy. For the last 20 years the Bedminster technology has been used to convert organic material to compost with the added benefits of significant volume reduction, the elimination of gases and leachate, and the conservation of energy."
Ralph Petruzzo, President of the Company, added, "Acquiring this site immediately brings new multi-million dollar projects and opportunities to the Company. We decided on the Bedminster Bio-Energy Technology because it is proven on both technical and economic grounds with the required balance sheet behind it. The first joint venture with our new partners is just the beginning of the tremendous opportunities that our Company is creating. Having secured the first site, technology and joint venture, we are immediately seeking additional sites for our new joint ventures as this partnership creates a win win for all."
