Organic Recycling Technologies Inc. Appoints President

April 24, 2006 – Burnaby, BC – Organic Recycling Technologies Inc. (“The Company”) (OTC: ORCY.PK) is pleased to announce Mr. Peter Gardner has been appointed President.

Mr. Gardner has two decades of leadership and business management experience in the information technology (IT) industry. As a member of the Board of Directors for the past three years, Mr. Gardner has been instrumental in the development of the core competency and business focus, assisting the Company in establishing a strong foothold in the waste management industry.

Mr. Ralph Petruzzo has resigned as President and Director of the Company. Mr. Petruzzo will continue be available to the Company on a consulting basis.

Chad Burback, Director of the Company stated, "On behalf of the Board of Directors and management team, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Petruzzo for his service and the valuable inroads he has made for the Company. We wish him well in his future endeavors."
